Northeast CT Aquatics is a coach-owned USA Swimming club dedicated to providing the best aquatics experience to all levels of athletes in our community. Our staff of skilled coaches develops athletes from swim lessons to club practice and than on to competition. We take great pride in watching our athletes develop within our program to graduate high school and compete at the collegiate level.

The mission for Student-Athlete Success
The coaching staff is composed of former collegiate athletes and state champions and understands the level of training and competition necessary to reach an athlete’s highest potential. Coach Ensling was a four-year student-athlete at Southern Connecticut State University, and swam on a team with NCAA Champions and All-Americans. Coach Balesano was a Connecticut state champion and All-American for the one-meter dive, and has sent a number of athletes to prestigious DI, DII, and DIII institutions. Coach Castellone was also a four-year student-athlete at Southern Connecticut State University and a two-time Captain.
Every athlete that has graduated from the program and moved to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level has either completed their careers fully or continues to succeed and expect to finish. This coaching staff is committed to serving the student-athletes and help achieve their dreams, whether it be in the classroom, in the pool, or socially.
We have helped athletes achieve their goals at the high school level, (pool and school records, best times, etc.) at the college level, (conference champions, personal best times, university records, etc.) and in the classroom at all levels (high school graduates, college graduates, honor roll student-athletes, etc.). We are here to help grow and develop tremendous student-athletes and look forward to continuing our success as a TEAM.
